Thank you to everyone who emailed in suggesting charities for us to assist this month. We had an abundance of requests to donate to World Vision. World Vision is a worldwide community development organisation that provides short-term and long-term assistance to 100 million people worldwide (including 2.4 million children).
Thanks to the support from all who purchased a Hartley Watch in the month of November we were able to assist in the following:
Train a teacher today for educated and inspired children tomorrow. Education is our most powerful weapon in the fight against poverty. We were able to provide training for one teacher.
A gift of a bicycle gives a girl a safe and speedy way to get to and from school. We were able to provide one bicycle for a girl.
Help a community protect their children from deadly waterborne disease with the gift of clean water. We were able to donate 2 x clean drinking water packages.
Help a new mother care for her beautiful bundle of joy during this special time. The kit includes supplies such as a bassinet, nappies, blanket and soap. We were able to provide 1 new mum gift hamper.
